We work exclusively on the basis of the Standard German Freight Forwarders Terms and Conditions (ADSp), most recent edition.
As per Top 23, ADSp, the freight forwarder's liability for loss or damage of goods is limited to 5.00 Euro per kilogram of gross weight of the shipment. In a transport contract for the carriage with various modes of transport (multimodal transport) as well as in large cassualties the liability is limited to 2.00 SDR per kilogram.
In general we recommend our customers to arrange a Transport inssurance.
