Effective from 9 March 2010 Libya will not accept any kind of used cars in Misuratah Port. The restriction imposed by Misurata Port Authorities is related to storage capacity problems of 2nd hand cars. Age is not an issue. Cargo on board will still be handled as exception. However, with immediate effect, no new bookings will be accepted which do not fit the requirements.

In Benghazi port, Used Cars are still being accepted, against a max age limit of 5 years.
